Workshops

Attend an arts-based workshop to design personalized memorials, brainstorm end-of-life wishes, or process grief. Workshops are held as part of exhibitions, in collaboration with organizations, or by one-on-one contracting. Public workshops will be announced on Instagram.

What is a death doula?

  • Death doulas support individuals and families through a range of end-of-life needs. Each death doula offers a different specialty, and services can be sought out any stage of life, but a few examples of support include:

    • Guidance on wills, estate planning, and medical decisions

    • Bedside companionship

    • Relief and household support for family-caregivers

    • Personalized funeral planning

    • Education on regional and state end-of-life options based on current laws

    • Vigil and post-mortem body care for the dying and the deceased
